The Laranja Reserva Caixa (6.5" x 48) has more than just a special shape going for it. It is blended with the same tobaccos that won the coveted 13th spot in the 2015 Cigar of the Year awards. That includes its unique orange Brazilian wrapper and Nicaraguan fillers.

Laranja Cigars have been in the Cuenca Cigars shelves since their release in 2014. The cigar uses an orange Brazilian wrapper very limited and is named after Brazilian orange "Laranja". Under the Brazilian wrappers a mixture of high quality Nicaraguan Tobaccos make of this cigar a unique smoke in taste and flavor. The brand was well-received, garnering many scores of 90 points or better in Cigar Aficionado tastings In 2014, Espinosa Premium Cigars showed off a brand new cigar called the Laranja Reserva, featuring the former word that translates to orange from Portuguese. According to comments made by owner Erik Espinosa at the time, that name was used due to the orange tint the Brazilian wrapper features.

The new Laranja Reserva from Espinosa Cigars uses a Brazilian Laranja wrapper, to be more precise, and is the first Espinosa cigar to incorporate a Brazilian wrapper. I wanted to release something different for the show, we had started working with this orange Brazilian Laranja wrapper last year and we are very excited with the end result.

CigarScore: 4. The Espinosa Laranja Reserva Toro is a good cigar, but I'm not sure it's anything super special. I wish the flavors had been bolder in one direction or the other, either more creamy or more citrusy. That would've been special and memorable.
